OUR LAB

Where we push our engineering.

Alongside client work, we run R&D on an autonomous agricultural drone, edge AI and computer vision, and making AI agents reliable. Every program is labeled honestly: in development or ongoing. What we learn here goes into every product we build for clients.

IN DEVELOPMENT

Autonomous agricultural drone platform

Our flagship programme: a precision-spraying and field-intelligence platform that joins robotics, edge AI and agronomy in one system. It is the hardest problem we work on, which is why we work on it.

  • Autonomous flight and mission planning
  • Vision-guided, targeted application
  • Ground-station and operator software
  • Field validation is the next milestone

Edge AI and computer vision

Running perception on the device itself - detecting, classifying and deciding without a round trip to the cloud. The same discipline applies to a drone, a phone or a factory camera.

  • On-device inference on embedded GPUs
  • Camera pipelines and sensor fusion
  • Model optimisation for constrained hardware
  • Reliable behaviour with intermittent connectivity

Agent reliability and evaluation

Agents are easy to demo and hard to trust. We research how to test them against real cases, limit what they can do, and monitor what they did - so they can be given real work.

  • Evaluation harnesses built from real tasks
  • Permission boundaries and approval flows
  • Tracing and audit of every agent step
  • Failure analysis and recovery patterns
Agent evaluation loop: task, agent, checks, human review

Simulation and digital twins

Real-time 3D models of machines and missions let us design, test and explain a system before it exists. It is also how we turn hard engineering into something an operator can understand.

  • Real-time 3D scene and telemetry visualisation
  • Mission and flight simulation
  • Interactive component and assembly models
  • Operator-facing dashboards

WHY R&D LIVES IN A STUDIO

One discipline, two outputs.

01

Practice, not claims

Building our own machines is how we know what we are talking about when we build yours.

02

Reusable engineering

Edge inference, vision, real-time systems and reliability work carry straight into client projects.

03

Honest status

Every programme is labelled for what it is - in development, ongoing - and we say so plainly.
