Replacing manual SAP pricing and invoice steps with focused apps

Customer-specific material prices were maintained by hand through standard SAP transactions (VK11), which is slow and easy to get wrong at scale. Invoice cancellations needed proper approvals, but the steps lived in emails and memory.

• Contract pricing management. A custom app for creating and maintaining customer-specific material pricing contracts, replacing the manual VK11 process.
• Invoice cancellation workflow. A staged flow: search an invoice, review the auto-fetched details, and route it to an approver.

How we approached it.

1. Sat with the people doing the work to understand each step.
2. Kept SAP standard where possible and built custom only where it saved real effort.
3. Built focused screens for each role, with validation built in.
4. Tested in the client's landscape and handed over with documentation.

Why it matters. Small, focused apps around SAP remove manual steps and errors without changing the core system.
